Mississippi Home Corporation Launches New Down Payment Assistance Programs Easy8 and Trusty10
Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) has launched two new down payment assistance programs, Easy8 and Trusty10. With these programs, MHC assists borrowers with homeownership by offering a competitive mortgage rate. Easy8 will provide $8,000 in upfront costs associated with a mortgage purchase and Trusty10 will provide $10,000.
These products will follow the Mortgage Revenue Bond Program guidelines but will replace the current MRB7 program. MRB7, with the exception of DPA14, will be closed effective March 31st, 2024.
“At MHC, we know that finding cash for down payment and closing costs is a barrier to homeownership. We continually work to evolve our products to fit current and emerging housing needs throughout our state. Our hope is that these two new products will offer keen advantages for potential buyers to make their dream of homeownership a reality,” said Scott Spivey Executive Director of MHC.
