Mississippi Home Corporation Sets Public Input Meeting and 30-Day Public Comment Period on the Substantial Amendments to Mississippi’s
FY2021 Annual Action Plan, FY2022 Annual Action Plan,
FY2023 Annual Action Plan, FY2024 Annual Action Plan
Mississippi – The Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) will hold a Public Input Meeting to obtain input on the following Amendments to the HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) Action Plans:
- FY2021 HOME-ARP- funding allocation process and limits
- FY2021 – projects deleted added, budget changes, etc.
- FY2022 – projects deleted added, budget changes, etc.
- FY2023 – projects deleted added, budget changes, etc.
- FY2024 – projects deleted added, budget changes, etc.
Proposed changes include:
- HOME-ARP
- To amend the HOME-ARP funding allocation process.
- To allow for funds not committed to other HOME-ARP activities to be moved to the HOME-ARP Supportive Services and TBRA budgets.
- HOME- FY2021, FY2022, FY2023
- To remove the HOME Investment Partnership Program cap of $1,500,000 per project maximum award amount limit.
- To add the maximum award amount per project to be based on the Maximum Per Unit Subsidy Limits
- HOME and HTF- 2024
- To remove the HOME Investment Partnership Program and Housing Trust Fund cap of $750,000 per project maximum award amount limit.
- To add the maximum award amount per project to be based on the Maximum Per Unit Subsidy Limits.
The Public Input Meeting will be held at the corporate offices of the Mississippi Home Corporation at 735 Riverside Drive, Jackson Mississippi on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Citizens, local officials, nonprofit organizations, stakeholders, and community groups are invited and encouraged to participate. The meeting is accessible to all persons with disabilities.
