Mississippi Home Corporation Announces New
Home4All Grant Program
Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) has announced a new grant program Home4All. The program will provide pre-purchase education and down payment assistance to eligible households. The program is funded through Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), a federal grant program that helps create affordable housing options for low-income households. MHC has designated $2 Million Dollars for this program.
Home4all will help households at 80% or below the Area Median Income purchase a home. Services include budgeting, pre-purchase education, and credit counseling. Prospective homebuyers that complete the program have the potential to receive down payment and closing cost assistance. Each eligible household could receive an estimated award of up to $25,000. The specific amount received varies based on household income, sales price, and terms of the financing. This program is subject to funding availability.
